Former Kempinski Palm Jumeriah manager steps into new Hilton role

Hotelier Alessandro Redaelli has stepped into the tole of managing director for Hilton in Ras al Khaimah.

Redaelli will be responsible for managing 1,200 employees across three resorts in the United Arab Emirates destination, including the Waldorf Astoria, Hilton Al Hamra Beach & Golf Resort and Al Hamra Residence & Village.

He has worked in nine countries including Saudi Arabia, Italy and Russia, and will now return to the company where his hospitality career began.

Redaelli started his career in 1994 with Hilton in France, after which he worked with a number of hospitality brands including Movenpick and InterContinental.

He later moved to Russia with Kempinski Hotels and also worked with in the UAE as cluster general manager of the Kempinski Hotel & Residences Palm Jumeirah, as well as the Kempinski Emerald Palace the Palm Dubai.

During his time with Kempinski Hotel & Residences Palm Jumeirah, the property was recognised with a clutch of top World Travel Awards, including World’s Leading Hotel Penthouse.

His most recent role included a stint with Paramount Hotels in Dubai, where he served as the vice president of operations.
